 After moving into a new home in the early 1990's, Laura Malvaez found herself without a shower/bathtub combination. "I was used to living in places that had a bathtub, so I could rest my foot on the rim. One day while struggling to shave my legs, I thought, why don't they invent something to rest your foot on while you shave in the shower?" And so, that morning she approached her co-worker, David Monfredini, now Vice-President of Malmon Corporation, about her idea. Monfredini encouraged Malvaez to pursue building a device and draw up a patent. |
